This App provides an easy way to calculate the PPM of acid gases if its Dewpoint is known, or to calculate the expected Dewpoint of acid gases for a given PPM level. Additional inputs are Moisture and Duct Pressure. This application is specifically designed for Fossil Fired boilers, however the calculations are universal.
Specific Acids included are: SO3/H2SO4, HCl, HBr, SO2/H2SO3 and NO2/HNO3.
In addition, the PPM to DP tab also provides for an easy way to calculate Water (H2O) dewpoint for a given Moisture content.
